Milena Govich

 

Milena Govich is an Serbian actress and director born on October 29, 1976.



 



 Early life and education



 Govich was born in Norman, Cleveland County in Oklahoma. Both her parents, Dr. Bruce Michael Govich, who died in 1998, and Dr. Marilyn Green Govich,[2] are professors of music. Bruce was employed at the University of Oklahoma and Marilyn currently teaches voice at the University of Central Oklahoma. Her father is Serbian and her mother is of Scottish and English heritage. Milica Govich, her aunt, is an actress as well and has appeared on Broadway and on television as well as in films.



 



 Milena was valedictorian for Norman High School's 1995 class. Her academic parents influenced her to graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma, and again becoming valedictorian. a double-degree in performance and pre-medical studies, and an additional minor in violin and dance. Govich was able to move to New York City after graduation to pursue an acting career.
